A lab full of new experiences
R&D&I (Research, Development and Innovation) is the cornerstone on which Ceylan's industrial and business activities are based, and for this we have a highly-qualified team as well as a modern infrastructure of semi -industrial labs and pilot plants.
R&D&I is divided into the following sections:
• Basic research conducted in collaboration with OPIS (Public research institutions belonging to the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness) on scientific aspects which are fundamental for developing new products.
• Research and development on our own premises or on those belonging to the companies which seek to improve and innovate within the area of product manufacturing, profitability and quality.
• Innovation to launch new products and manufacturing processes. This stage of R&D&I is essential for the company, as it is able to offer our clients innovation in both products and processes to boost market sales. The ideas on which innovation is based come from different sources, including the results of basic research and development being carried out, the evolution of national and foreign markets or the clients themselves.
